2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This part-time role involves working less than 30 hours per week with a starting wage of $25.75 per hour. As a Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting and receiving incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.
• Assist in achieving warehouse goals.
• Perform all tasks efficiently and within company policies.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• Work independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
