2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a vital role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores for our growing customer base. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week with a starting wage of $25.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse according to guidelines.
• Organize and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation concerns.
• Act independently within the delegated responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals and follow company policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
