Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join the team at Aldi. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from up to $20.75 to $26.75 per hour, depending on the shift and schedule. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. Your contributions will directly impact the productivity and success of the warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and warehouse leadership.
- Provide feedback to improve processes and assist in achieving operational goals.
- Operate equipment safely and follow company procedures.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
- Stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, and walk in various warehouse environments.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
