Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join our team at ALDI. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. You will collaborate with peers and warehouse leadership to achieve operational excellence while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving budgeted goals.
- Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and follow sanitation protocols.
- Operate equipment safely and report any issues to management.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to be employed at ALDI.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Efficiently organize and execute tasks, adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Ability to interpret and apply policies, communicate effectively, and work both independently and in a team.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and handle products up to 45 pounds.
- Moving merchandise throughout the warehouse and preparing items for delivery.
- Standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and working in varying temperatures.
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
