1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join the dynamic team at Aldi. As a crucial part of the warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the warehouse meets safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and safety, reporting issues to management.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any concerns.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented, follows instructions, and works well in a team.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and physically demanding conditions.
