1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. This position is full-time, averaging 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $19.00 - $23.00 per hour based on shift and schedule differential pay. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team responsible for various warehouse duties to ensure efficient order fulfillment and overall warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment; unload incoming shipments.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve processes and achieve warehouse goals.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Perform assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policies.
• Follow ergonomic and safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move products up to 45 pounds.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
