1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores for our growing customer base. This is a part-time position with an average of fewer than 30 hours per week and a starting wage of $23.75 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Handle product relocation, sorting, loading, and unloading following warehouse guidelines.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and effectively communicate with peers and management.
• Contribute ideas for process improvements and assist in goal achievement.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, perform basic arithmetic, pay attention to detail, and work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Handle products weighing up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures and environments.
