Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join the Aldi team. As a crucial member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. This dynamic role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to achieving operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to warehouse guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.

Job Qualifications:

• 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, and resilience.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Strong communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• Works well independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and move products up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures.
