1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi, a highly reputable company known for its commitment to quality and innovation. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse by selecting and receiving stock, organizing merchandise, and maintaining warehouse standards. You will collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines for proper storage.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide feedback for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and report sanitation issues.
• Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, organizational skills, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
