1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will play a crucial role in receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment within our warehouse facility. Your responsibilities will include efficient stock selection, product relocation, loading, unloading, inventory management, and general warehouse maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and collaborate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide feedback for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues to management.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and prepare product deliveries.
• Engage in various physical activities throughout the warehouse.
• Work in different temperature environments including outdoors and refrigerated areas.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
