1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the team at Aldi, a leading retail company. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week and a starting wage ranging from $20.75 - $26.75 per hour based on shift differentials. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the warehouse operates smoothly to meet store demands.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Move merchandise within the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety compliance.
• Independently make decisions within your area of responsibility.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move products up to 45 pounds.
• Perform physical tasks in varying temperatures.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
