1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring full-time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join the dynamic team at Aldi. As a Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, relocating, sorting, loading, and unloading merchandise in the warehouse. You'll work collaboratively with team members and warehouse leadership to ensure operational excellence and maintain high standards of product quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and management to improve processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Contribute to achieving warehouse goals and targets.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and lift up to 45 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
