1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay.

• Schedule B

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise in the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety compliance.
• Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and adhere to company policies.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physical activities throughout the warehouse.
