1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a crucial role in ensuring products are received, selected, and delivered efficiently to our stores, catering to our expanding customer base. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will work in ambient and temperature-controlled areas, receive comprehensive training, and contribute to maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving operational goals.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Operate equipment safely and adhere to ergonomic guidelines.
• Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and in line with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, resilience, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and implement company policies.
• Strong communication, mathematical, and teamwork skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds frequently.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
