1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week, with a starting wage ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour based on shift and schedule. As a package handler, your responsibilities will include efficiently selecting and receiving incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and more. You will collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to optimize processes and achieve our goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, and resilience.
• Drive for success and organize and execute efficiently.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
