1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join the dynamic team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment. This position offers competitive starting wages ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour based on shift differentials. Join us in one of the following schedules: Schedule D, Schedule A2, or Schedule B.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers.
• Provide input for process improvements to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality and assist in meeting budgeted goals.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse and prepare store deliveries.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
