1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring for the position of 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler at Aldi. This is a full-time role with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage ranges from $18.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on the shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with peers and warehouse leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock and fulfill orders for stores.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance.
• Communicate effectively with peers and management to improve processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Moving merchandise, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and operating powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
