1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the ALDI team in efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and achieving warehouse appearance standards. The role involves collaborating with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to ensure effective communication and process improvement. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for maintaining product quality, safety standards, and sanitation. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently and in a team environment, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product for quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic arithmetic and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise in varying temperatures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
