1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic warehouse environment with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of orders for our stores.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.

Physical Requirements:
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets
- Move merchandise throughout the warehouse
- Sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk
- Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment

Education and Experience

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
