1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi, a leading retail company. As a full-time employee, you will work 30-35 hours per week with starting wage ranging from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour. The position is for 1st Shift with a 7:00 AM start time.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise in the warehouse following guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Clean the warehouse and maintain safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and report issues.
• Operate equipment safely and follow procedures.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Conscientious, collaborative, positive attitude, drives for success.
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Good communication and basic math skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment.
