Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and achieve goals.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.

Requirements

• 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
• Conscientious, collaborative, positive, resilient, and success-driven.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Good communication, basic arithmetic, and attention to detail skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
