1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

Join our team at Aldi as a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler in a full-time role with 30-35 hours per week. Starting wage is up to $18.00-$22.00 per hour. We are currently hiring for Schedule B. Various schedules are available to suit your preferences.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in compliance with product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise preparing for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively within the team.
• Collaboratively provide input to enhance warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Act independently within designated responsibilities.
• Achieve budgeted goals and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to organize, execute efficiently, and follow company policies.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
• Safely operate powered equipment.
