Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our busy warehouse team at ALDI. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores, ensuring our customers receive top-quality goods. You will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, contributing to the smooth operation of our warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently receive and select incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Organize and relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Load and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements to warehouse management.
- Inspect products for quality and address safety concerns.
- Independently make decisions within your area of responsibility.
- Support warehouse management in achieving goals.
- Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, collaboration, and resilience.
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team environment.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and move products up to 45 pounds.
- Engage in various physical activities such as bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Work in different temperature environments.
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
