Job Description
We are currently looking for a 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. This position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $20.75 to $26.75 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. The role involves various schedules, such as Schedule A1, A2, B, C, and D, each requiring different working days and off-days.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders from stores.
- Relocate merchandise in the warehouse according to guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and cooperate with peers and leadership.
- Provide input to enhance warehouse processes and assist in achieving budgeted goals.
- Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation concerns.
- Operate equipment following safety guidelines and notify management of any issues.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
- Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, perform arithmetic, pay attention to detail, and work independently or in a team.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights.
- Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
