1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join the dynamic team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in efficiently fulfilling orders, organizing merchandise, and ensuring warehouse operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvements.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and warehouse leadership.
• Inspect product quality and report safety or sanitation issues.
• Follow company policies and procedures diligently.
• Operate equipment safely and comply with ergonomic guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Demonstrate conscientious behavior, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Physically move merchandise and prepare deliveries.
• Engage in various warehouse tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and walking.
• Work in different temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
