We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Mortgage Lender to join Civista Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for originating first mortgage loans, building relationships with referral partners, and meeting the financial needs of the community. Key Responsibilities

• Travel to solicit mortgage and home equity loans through referral partners and community engagements.
• Meet with clients to complete loan applications and gather required documentation.
• Educate clients on lending guidelines and regulations.
• Propose and discuss loan options with clients.
• Stay informed about industry regulations and ensure compliance.
• Communicate loan decisions and provide market information to real estate professionals.
• Participate in bank programs and community events to promote lending services.
• Conduct business and maintain relationships with local stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Mortgage Lending experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency in computer applications and data entry.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Job Expectations

• Engage in sales activities outside the bank premises.
• Ability to work on computers for extended periods.
• Handle moderate physical tasks such as moving loan files.
• Travel for meetings, trainings, and real estate visits.
