Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Dispatcher to join our team at RICH TRANSPORT LLC. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in managing driver schedules, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining communication with various departments to optimize operations.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update Bill of Lading information, ETAs, and PTAs accurately and promptly.
• Track and communicate any delays to the relevant departments.
• Monitor driver schedules to ensure expected miles are met.
• Participate in load board monitoring to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Perform check calls on drivers and assist with other dispatcher tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with Load Planners/Coordinators to optimize routing and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate records and reports as requested by management.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a professional appearance at all times.

Requirements

• Ability to work well under pressure and communicate effectively with team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with McLeod database and Manifest building.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
