Job Description
We are looking for a proficient Community Bank President and Ag Lender to join Bank Iowa Corporation in Newton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating quality Ag and Commercial loans, representing Bank Iowa in the community, and leading a team of Relationship Managers and Loan Assistants. You will play a vital role in building and maintaining strong client relationships within the Southeast Iowa Region while actively participating in community activities to enhance the bank's visibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead and champion the bank's values, culture, and strategic direction as the primary representative in the community.
- Manage an agriculture and commercial loan portfolio, fostering business growth and client retention.
- Participate in civic and community activities to establish the bank as a center of influence.
- Approve loans within specified limits and provide referrals for other bank products and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, Economics, or relevant field with 7+ years of lending and banking experience.
- Strong Agriculture background preferred with extensive supervisory and management experience.
- Ideal candidates will have leadership, credit analysis, underwriting, and sales experience.
