Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. Your collaboration with the ALDI team and commitment to exceptional service will help us deliver top-notch service.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professionalism in daily tasks.
- Operate the cash register, maintain cleanliness, and ensure orderly product displays.
- Provide excellent customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with the team.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and other pertinent matters to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies.
- Adhere to company policies with a focus on document security and confidentiality.
- Perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and lifting merchandise.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of understanding and applying company policies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Relevant education and work background will be considered.
