Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your role will involve collaborating with team members, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the store meets operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
  • Conduct customer transactions, stock shelves, and keep merchandise displays orderly.
  • Assist customers during their shopping experience and communicate effectively with the store management team.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy, follow cash policies, and adhere to company procedures.
  • Perform general cleaning duties and operate equipment efficiently and safely.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register.
  • Capable of following company policies, maintaining cleanliness, and working both independently and in a team setting.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Prior retail experience preferred but not required.
