Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance, handling cashier duties, and providing exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and support customers during their shopping journey.
- Work closely with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and overall store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accurate monitoring of merchandise.
- Follow cash policies, uphold company procedures, and maintain document security.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safe handling of equipment including hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Adherence to cleaning standards and company policies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma preferred.
- Prior experience in retail is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
